Staje app privacy policy

The short version: your habit data never leaves your phone. Your email address only leaves it if you choose to give it.

What the app stores, on your device only

The first name you enter at setup
Which Staje you are on (Clarity, Confidence or the Staje Stack)
Your chosen reminder time
The days you have marked your capsules as taken

None of this is ever transmitted anywhere. We cannot see it, and neither can anyone else. Deleting the app deletes all of it.

The one thing that can leave your phone

At setup the app offers an optional email field. It is optional in the real sense: skip it and the app works exactly the same, and nothing at all is sent.

If you do enter an email address, that address, and nothing else, is sent to Klaviyo, the email platform we use to send our emails. Your name, your product, your reminder time and every day you have ticked all stay on your phone and are never sent with it.

Klaviyo will email you to confirm you want to hear from us. You are only added to our list once you click that confirmation, and you can unsubscribe from any email we send.

What the app does not do

No account and no sign-in. No analytics, no advertising identifiers, no tracking, and no third-party code beyond the single call described above. The app makes no other network connection of any kind.

Reminders

Daily reminders are scheduled locally by the app on your device. They do not involve our servers.

What we receive

From the app itself, nothing beyond an email address you chose to give. Apple also provides us with the aggregated, anonymised App Store statistics it provides every developer, such as total download counts. Those are governed by Apple's own privacy policy and contain nothing about your use of the app.

Children

The app is intended for adults and is not directed at children.

Changes

If a future version of the app changes what it stores or sends, we will update this page before that version ships, and the change will be reflected in the app's App Store privacy label.
