What’s actually helped me reduce cravings

I don’t tend to overhaul my routine often (‘overhaul’ sounds exhausting!). If something is working, I’d rather refine it than replace it, and most of the time, the changes that actually stick are the ones that don’t require much effort to maintain.

This is one of those.

I run multiple businesses, I work from home, and my days are usually a mix of back-to-back calls, focused work blocks, and trying to fit everything else in around that. So naturally, food has always been a bit functional. It’s whatever is quickest, easiest, and doesn’t interrupt momentum too much.

I’d grab an almond croissant with my morning coffee, order UberEats regularly, and I’d never *ever* skip dessert (as if!)

But over time, I started to notice a pattern that started to frustrate me - after every meal, I wanted something sweet. I relied on afternoon caffeine hits to call in energy, too.

It wasn’t chaos, and it wasn’t every single day, but it was frequent enough that it started to feel like background noise.

At first, I put it down to lifestyle. I was busy, stressed, definitely relying on coffee more than I should, and not always making the most considered food choices. That was the obvious explanation and the ripple effect started to feel loud - I felt sluggish more often than I’d like, my energy wasn’t stable, and I was bloated a lot. My skin wasn’t at its best either, which I chalked up to stress, hormones and dehydration.

So I did what most people do in that situation and tried to get on top of it.

I exercised more consistently. I tried meal kits to remove the friction of deciding what to cook. I went down the path of hormone testing and seeing practitioners to understand whether there was something else going on. I made an effort to be more structured with meals and snacks, upping protein and water intake.

All of those things helped, to a degree. But none of them actually changed the underlying pattern, which was so frustrating. It wasn’t that I didn’t know what to do, it was how it felt - like a ginormous effort and juggle - to stay on top of basic wellness.

The thing I kept coming back to was how strong sugar cravings felt for me. I spoke to a tonne of friends about this and became convinced that this wasn’t normal.

That’s the part I think gets misunderstood a lot. It’s easy to frame everything around discipline, when there’s extra ‘effort layers’ for different people. For me, stress, work priorities, energy and convenience won out - even if i’d meal prepped, even if I exercised regularly.

Around the time we were developing Staje, I started paying closer attention to that distinction. I started observing what was actually happening for me, rather than kicking myself for not being more disciplined.

Confidence was built around that idea.

I was skeptical going into it, to be honest. I didn’t expect a supplement to have a noticeable impact, and I definitely didn’t expect to feel anything quickly.
But within a few weeks of taking it, I noticed a shift that was hard to ignore.

The best way I can describe it is that the intensity of cravings softened. The same situations would come up, mid-afternoon, late evening, but the urgency wasn’t there in the same way.

That might sound like a small difference, but it changes how you respond, and the changes compound.

Instead of automatically reaching for whatever was quickest, I found I actually had a moment to decide what I felt like eating, or whether I even wanted anything at all. That pause had a ripple effect that made everything a lot easier.

From there, a few other things started to fall into place without much effort. I felt fuller for longer, which meant I wasn’t thinking about food as frequently throughout the day. My energy levels evened out, which meant I wasn’t relying on caffeine in the same way. My skin cleared up, which I hadn’t expected but was a welcome bonus from reduced sugar and caffeine intake. And I’ve naturally lost a bit of weight, without actively trying to.

None of those were the primary goal, but they’ve been consistent enough that I’ve taken notice.

The formulation itself is part of why Staje works as well as it does.

Two of the key ingredients are CQR-300, a patented extract of Cissus quadrangularis, and IGOB131, an African mango seed extract. Both have been studied for their role in supporting appetite regulation, serotonin levels, and metabolic function. Without getting overly technical, they’re designed to support the signals in your body that relate to fullness and cravings, rather than forcing a short-term effect.

There are also additional ingredients like chromium picolinate, which supports blood sugar balance, and vitamin D3, which plays a broader role in metabolic health. Everything is formulated at clinically studied doses and produced in a pharmaceutical-grade facility in France, which was a non-negotiable for us from the beginning.

That said, I don’t think most people care about ingredient lists in isolation. What matters is how something actually shows up in your day.

For me, the biggest shift has been the mental space and physical changes.

Food just doesn’t take up the same bandwidth anymore. I’m not craving sweet treats after meals, and I’m not navigating that same internal back-and-forth throughout the day. It’s a quieter experience overall, which is hard to articulate until you notice it.

And interestingly, I notice it most when I stop taking it.

I didn’t become a co-founder of Staje because I thought people needed another supplement. If anything, I was cautious about adding to the noise in a category that’s already saturated with big claims and quick fixes.I wanted to be involved because I recognised this pattern in myself, and I know I’m not the only one who experiences it.

If you’ve ever felt like you’re making reasonable choices most of the time but still dealing with inconsistent energy, strong cravings, or a constant awareness of food in the background, it’s worth paying attention to how that actually feels for you.

Not from a place of restriction or pressure, but from a place of understanding what’s driving it.

Confidence, for me, has been less about changing what I eat, and more about changing how I experience those decisions in the first place.

I’ve noticed clearer skin, sustained energy, less cravings and feeling fuller for longer - all from a tiny addition to my daily routine.

I'm on week 1 and the biggest thing I've noticed is I'm not thinking about food constantly between meals. That late evening fridge visit used to be automatic. Now I just... don't. Very keen to see where I am in a few months.

A New Standard In Purity That Actually Gets Absorbed
Here's the truth about supplements: most of the time you don't know if they're working. Not because the ingredients are wrong, but because they never make it where they need to go. They break down too early, absorb poorly, or release all at once and fade fast. So we built something different. The patented beadlet technology that we use doesn't just protect clinical actives, it delivers them exactly when and where your body can use them best. That means results you can actually feel from day one, and transformations that build over time.

This is the science behind every capsule. The tech that turns ingredients into impact. Welcome backstage.

Inside the beadlet

Each beadlet is a tiny, semi-permeable capsule designed to protect, preserve, and release active ingredients with precision.

Unlike traditional powder capsules that dump everything at once (and lose potency in your stomach acid), our beadlets shield actives through gastric breakdown and deliver them exactly where absorption happens best.

The result? Up to 96% protection compared to just 80% with powder, and a controlled release that works immediately, builds gradually, and keeps performing for up to 8 hours. One beadlet capsule can deliver what five traditional powder capsules can't.
